A Dose of Summer from the Southern Hemisphere

Lee Tran Lam of Australia's Inside Out Magazine dropped by our inbox this week to treat us to a nice friendly dose of summer from the Southern Hemisphere! And it couldn't be more welcome after that deep freeze of a week we experienced recently. Their Jan/Feb issue drops Thursday, and we happen to have a colourful sneak peek to warm up your wintery day.  To start off, (above and directly below) 'Home Grown' — styling by Jason Grant and photography by Sam McAdam-Cooper.  Lee Tran tells us,  it's "a well-styled valentine to Australian design".

January/February is Inside Out's "eco issue" and they have a lovely feature on eco-conscious style. Below check out 'Best Buys: Eco-Conscious Style' —styling by Jessica Hanson and photography by Guy Bailey, "which shows the bright side (literally!) of sustainable design".

More 'Best Buys: Beach Towels' (below) —styling by Jessica Hanson and photography by Guy Bailey. "Colourful ways to park a spot on the beach and dry off".

'Fabric Trend: Painterly Patterns' —styling by Paige Noelle and photography by Guy Bailey. "Watercolour patterns that are a (washed out) stroke of genius".

'3 Looks For you Outdoor Space': styling by Heather Nette King and photography by Alicia Taylor. Lee Tran tells us, "We take it outside (not for a fight, but for something more rewarding and definitely bruise-free: three inventive ways to makeover your exteriors and maximise your space)."

Get Inside Out's new issue coming out this Thursday, December 19th! You can pick up a digital copy on Zinio or subscribe the print version here.
