Have you heard of Mrs. Brown's Art Class? One of my coworkers shared this fantastic site with me. This resource has art ideas for kindergarten to grade 5 (although I'm sure even my grade 6/7 class would get a lot of it). Mrs. Brown has many different lessons for each grade, students examples, and even powerpoints for many of the lessons. What a find! I can't wait to try some of these with my students next year. And I think I just may do a few of these with my own kiddies this summer. As soon as we're off for the summer, I'm starting "No TV Tuesdays" - I think an art activity will be a great way to spend our Tuesday mornings.
