Two weekend projects today; both I happened upon by way of Etsy and the shop of Belarosa. Julie, the creator and designer of recycled tote bags also does a few DIY projects on the side. Love the scrabble pixel art above. And as she mentions on her blog, it's easy and kid friendly too. Check it out here.
And the TV Shelf DIY (below) was featured in the April/May 2011 issue of Readymade magazine (I miss that magazine, don't you)? Somehow I missed this back then but think it would be a fun little project for the weekend. Suss out some crap TV's at your local thrift shop, empty their insides, bolt together and poof!
