The Not-So-Heavy Metal | Sneak Peek from Oct's Inside Out Magazine!

Although fall is in the air in these parts, thank goodness for the southern hemisphere and the folks at Inside Out Magazine to keep summer running all year long here for us! The October issue (out this Thursday) is filled with all sorts of sunshiney goodness and Managing Editor, Lee Tran Lam gives us the deets:

"First up is the gorgeous feature on the copper trend by our stylist Jessica Hanson and shot by photographer Sam McAdam-Cooper. I think this shoot was an exercise in testing readers' melting points for copper! The not-so-heavy metal is a great, contemporary look to sneak into the home.

Our cover story is about a Melbourne townhouse that may very well provoke high levels of art-owning envy. I love that shot of the bedroom with dark yet colourful Matthew Johnson artwork (reminds me of city lights at night) and also Kirra Jamison's 'Universe' would provide a bright wake-up call on any morning. Styling by Mim Design/Kimberley Wiederman and photography by Derek Swalwell.

And the last shots are, a bit of Sydney sunshine cast on a lovely rooftop garden. The story is about landscape architect Katy Svalbe (who also styled the story) and her inspiring rooftop garden, right in the city. Because it's quite a sun trap – even in winter – she's lucky enough to have tomatoes growing right through the chill of winter. Those photographs are by Jason Busch."

Gorgeous, thank you Lee Tran!
