{Crock Pot} Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Sandwiches

I joined a fun group of bloggers in doing a Surprise Recipe Swap every month! We're each assigned a different blog to choose a recipe from, make it, and share it on the 20th of every month. I'm excited to participate in this group every month!

For my first month I was assigned to choose a recipe from Sheena over at Hot Eats and Cool Reads. Let me tell you, this was a tough decision! My eyes landed on this recipe for Crock Pot Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Sandwiches. Pulled pork sandwiches remind me of summer barbecues and fun. And I love my crock pot! This was a winning recipe for me.

I love the way this meat turned out. The flavor is awesome! The mustard gives it that little kick that makes it so good. You could always use your favorite barbecue sauce instead of the recipe for the sauce, but this sauce is WAY better than anything you'll find in the stores. And I had everything in my pantry already! Yummy yummy.

I made a couple adjustments as far as the cook time and temperature go, but other than that the recipe is the same. Go check out Hot Eats and Cool Reads for more fantastic recipes!

**I forgot to mention this in the recipe, but I threw away the onions after the roast cooked. We don't like to eat onions like that, but the flavor it brings to the roast in the cooking process is awesome!**
