A little sneak peek today from Inside Out Magazine's May/June 2013 issue due out this Wednesday (April 24)! Above: The designs of Emma Cleine, artist and creator of Lumiere Art + Co. homewares; story by Julia Green, photography by Armelle Habib. Lee Tran Lam, Managing Editor of Inside Out tells us "Emma's really cool - she used to use her clothesline as a drying rack for her shibori-dyeing, because she didn't have a proper studio! She currently "ice-dyes" her products, so she mixes melting ice with her dye and it creates a "hydrangea effect" on the fabric".
Their cover story is photographed, styled and features Kara Rosenlund, a stylist who has a travelling caravan (nicknamed Frankie) that she sells goods out of! (A dream of mine to do one day). A few pics of her home styled by Megan Morton .
