Spotted this deck over the weekend in the latest issue of Sunset Magazine. Owner Alexandra Angle, an interior designer stained their deck white and then stenciled it with silver paint – which makes their back deck feel more like a room than a deck (and pass-through –which connects the house to a "sleeping barn"). I love the idea of a stenciled deck (especially white), it really does change the feel making more of an extension of the home it seems.
