Teacher Appreciation Day is May 8th and it's the perfect opportunity to let a teacher know how much you appreciate everything they do. These teachers go through so much for our kids and don't get enough recognition for it. Teacher Appreciation Day is the one day set aside just for them. And I'm excited to pass on some fun ideas for you to show that special teacher just how much you care! These could also work for the last day of school, back to school, for the room mothers/teachers aids, etc.
School Supply Cake @ What's Scrappin'
A couple of moms could get together and make this darling cake. I would love to present this to a teacher! They would love all of these school supplies.
Berry Basket + FREE Download @ Eighteen25
"I Couldn't Have Picked a Better Teacher" - Such a cute idea! The berry soap, sanitizer, and car freshener come from the spring/summer line at Bath and Body Works and smell amazing. I love this idea! The girls at Eighteen25 always come up with the cutest ideas and share their printables with us. Thank you so much!!

This jar of cookies would make any teacher's day! There is a FREE printable for this one as well. Thank you, 36th Avenue! (These cookies would be good with Reese's Pieces, too!)

I love this gift idea because it can be used every year in the classroom. And the kids will enjoy it too! Who isn't counting down to summer? Especially when we're so close to it!
Countdown Printable @ Eighteen25
Eighteen25 wins this year for the most creative Teacher Appreciation gifts! I really like this printable idea. It is featured over at Eighteen25 today. First, print off the printable in the color you choose for your teacher. (There is a blue one too.) Then simply place it in a frame. The teacher can write with a dry-erase marker the number representing how many days are left till a specific event. Summer, a field trip, a party day, etc. Great idea and very simple! Everyone in the classroom can enjoy it.
