Spring Spheres? Not In My Classroom!

While browsing through the news this weekend, I saw that one particular classroom had changed the name of "Easter Eggs" to "Spring Spheres". Not in my classroom!!! Let the Easter Eggs roll! I like to celebrate ALL holidays in my classroom - all while fitting the curriculum demands.
I just created a new product called "Jelly Bean Math". I went out this weekend and bought an embarrassingly large bag of jelly beans, filled the jelly beans into an embarrassingly large jar, and can't wait to put it on display in the classroom. On Thursday we will have JELLY BEAN MATH! I have done this activity before using skittles, but I think the jelly beans will be a perfect fit for the last day of classes before the Easter weekend.
