Where in your home/apartment/city is your studio located?
my studio is a converted detached garage, right out back next to the chicken coop. it's far enough from the house to feel like I'm away, but close enough to work with my crazy schedule (i.e. printing at 4am). I started paperedtogether in our basement, so I've really moved up in the world.
What equipment/tools do you use?

Do you have an inspiration board, and can you tell us what is inspiring you now?
I keep meaning to start one, but I honestly don't have time to do much other than design, print, and fill orders. I have three kids and another job, so I have a really, really long list of things I want to do one day (like finally starting an inspiration board!). I am always inspired by plants, birds & animals, seasonal changes, my children, old books, junk, etc.
How do you create best (e.g. do you listen to music while you create and if so what?)
I can never sit still & always need a few things going at once. I'm always listening to NPR, a cheesy movie in the background, &/or music (right now: laura viers, greg brown, rilo kiley, beirut, feist, vampire weekend).

If yours isn't, what would be your perfect studio?
equipment:
the magical conversion from garage to studio is really recent, and my biggest wish is that I had extra time to breathe some life into the place. It's pretty bare-bones. It could definitely use more natural light, a serious heater & a lovely wood floor. As for equipment, I wouldn't say no to a Vandercook!
