i'm taking my queue from redcurrent (an inspiration herself) today and making a list of where i look for inspiration. i find sometimes i get a little lost in my sea of links which i hope to organize one of these rainy days; and find going back to the basics sometimes inspires me most. i have found some excellent design links in my travels and am happy to share some here.
color project by poynter.org - an interactive color experience and online guide explaining color theory and how to use it in design settings.
designing with type - a website devoted to the art and appreciation of typography offering unique resources.
rene wanner's poster page - links and i mean links (get a coffee) to poster designers, graphic designers, schools, museums, exhibits, collections, dealers, collectors.....go see!
canada's digital collections - oodles of images to feast your eyes on.
charles and ray eames - a legacy of invention.
mambo - not really the basics - but i just love this site.
